We are a charitable, non-profit organization (CRA Reg. No. 11901 0379 RR0001) dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities. Our strength comes from the community. We have members and volunteers from all walks of life supporting our organziation with a passion for helping people with learning disabilities and their families achieve their potential.
We are a local chapter of Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC) and Ontario (LDAO).
Together we assist people with learning disabilities and their families by providing support, guidance and resource information, provide programs, workshops and support groups, and raise public awareness of learning disabilities.
Our mission is to provide leadership in learning disabilities advocacy, research, education and services and to advance the full participation of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities in today’s society. We value promoting positive change through:
